5.50 x 16 or 6.00 x 16? which size would you guys prefer on a Super H? getting ready to place an order at Miller Tire and cant decide on which size would be the best. Thanks.

5.50-16 in front, 12.4-38 in rear, both 6 ply leaves the tractor level. 6.00-16 won't change it much.

alright then ill go with the 5.50's then ill post a picture of the whole tractor once we get all the new tires mounted , got some Firestone 12.4 x 38's coming in on thursday, Titan's were over 500 per tire so i went with the firestones for 425 a piece which is still ridiculous compared to what tires used to be.thank you

5.50 was probably original.I like 6.00 lots better.I put a set of 11.2 38s on my SH.Hate em!Should have spent the extra money for 12.4s!the difference was over $100 ea.

For $425 they have to be 4 plies, that is cheap. That's about what I paid for 11.2-36 4 plies for my C 10 years ago.

Interesting. Firestone actually got out of the tractor tire busines for awhile which gave Titan a jump. Titan designs are the old Armstrong tires.

The local Firestone dealer is a major tractor tire dealer where I live, I don't think it ever stopped selling tractor tires. The local Titan/Goodyear dealer is also. Titan took over Goodyear and sells both Goodyear and Titan. I tried to buy 11.2-36 tires for my C in 2002 from the Goodyear dealer, I believe that was before Titan took over. He said he couldn't get them. I switched to the Firestone dealer, he got the tires in less than a week--and since then I have never looked back. Excellent service. Also bought 12.4-38's about a year later, so I don't think Firestone ever quit. If they did it may have been when Firestone was merged with Bridgestone which is now the parent company, but I don't think so. All my tires, Jeep, pickup and tractors now come from that dealer. This is not a criticism of Goodyear or Titan. In my case it is the dealer that makes the difference.

I have 6.00 x 16 on mine, look fine with 12.4 on the back. I am going to upgrade to 13.6 on the back next spring and will look even better.
