Farmall A Air Cleaner

Hello. How far should the Air Cleaner pipe be sticking up above the hood on my Farmall A. I want to eventually put a pre cleaner with the glass jar on it. Like to get all the options put on it that you could get from the factory, but just not sure how far the pipe should be above the hood. THANKS ALL

Two or three inches should be good.

As it came from the factory, all options should fit that. There is little if any adjustment as the lower part has to align with the carb.

Total length of the pipe is 16 3/8 and its 1 3/8 dia pipe
