What is a good option other than the calcium water?

I have heard windshield washer fluid?

How would I go about gettting it in the tubes?

Thanks

There are a number of option to be had Wiper fluid bet juice antifreeze but me I use WWF. As to putting it in send me an e-mail and I can then send you a page from a owners manual that shows you 3 or 4 ways of doing it

good year has an epoxy that fills the tires with a material similar to a child's red rubber ball. i have it in my front tires., no more flats. expensive, yes.

Depending on the size tire, it might be a wash to add iron weight.

For example, a Cub only holds about 90lbs of calcium chloride solution in each tire. A set of iron weights would add 150lbs per tire.

On an H size tractor, two sets of factory wheel weights is about as effective as filling the tires.

The problem with windshield washer fluid is it's mostly alcohol. Calcium makes the fluid HEAVIER. Alcohol makes the fluid LIGHTER.

Beet juice you have to order, have shipped... Probably cost more than iron weights.

The local tire dealers have beet juice in a big tank right next to regular CaCl.

Winshield washer fluid is ok for garden tractors and stuff that don't use much fluid, but it gets super expensive for real tractors.

I agree, wheel weights for an H are $100 or less for a pair. Can't beat that for $/lb (and risk of wrecking rims)

Guess I'll go for another set of weights the tires are 13.6x28

Good choice, ballast in the tire is the worst option and is best avoided for a number of reasons.

If you fix the leaks in a timely manner the rims don't rust out. We have chloride in all our loaded tires with no problems. All original rims on (53H 50 MD, 60's 806, 574/FEL, 1466, 674).
