Simple question. When I drain the trans fluid from my A will the PTO unit also drain? Common sense says "Yes" because there is no drain on the PTO unit, but that logic has cost people some money in the past. I have had it off the tractor but it has been too long to remember if there was passages bored through the rear of the trans. |

| Thanks guys. The A doesn't have a belt pulley and I did clean it out when I had it off. Thanks for confirming this! |

| The drain is in the belt pulley. When you drain the tranny the PTO will drain but not the belt pulley thats why there is a drain plug ion the belt pulley. |

| | yes there are passages - through - it's all one system to drain/refill. However - not a bad idea to take it off sometime and clean all the sludge out of it with kerosene, especially if you didn't do that last time. |
