Kevin B from Illinois 08-06-2012 13:47:52 173.20.194.215 Report to Moderator	Was able to use a neighbors 30' wheel rake today hay is so thin here would have been out allday please rain, but anyway I am a diehard IH man but this rake had a 970 on it the power shift those case guys brag about is the jumpiest thing I ever drove, I will take the old TorQue amplifier anytime over it. On the electric controlled models the pressure switch's control the dropping of one clutch and picking up the next. [Reply]  [No Email]

It may be some shock load to the rear end, but the tractors I've been around handeled it just fine. But, I'd also say, at least the upshift on a hydraulic TA is pretty firm, too. I liked the power assist clutch on my cousin's 1570- once you got used to it, it was so slick. And the 3 gears to powershift up through is nice when pulling stuff on the road. -Andy [Reply]  [No Email]
