Paint Booth

I used to work for a company that built paint booths for automotive assembly plants, which had an air supply house, downdraft, robotics and a overspray/sludge collection system. Unfortunately, the paint booth I'm using to paint my '44 H has none of that (see the picture of my paint booth located in my garage). Oh well, it works for my purposes, just a bit cramped.

Looks good to me. Anything is better than to find that your WHITE truck now has a kind of a "reddish" hue to it after you just painted a gas tank for an H.

Hi Gene, my garage doors were open when I painted and now all my neighbors are asking why my garage doors are "pink". Painting the doors white again will be my next project.

Wipe them with some thinner on a rag and you may get lucky.

I'm with Cowman, I do all my painting outside, when the conditions are right. Although, I am not a paint perfectionist either, but I have turned out decent jobs.

I have always admired the really nice paint jobs that some of you go to the lengths to do. However, for myself and my tractors, I am satisfied to come close to the quality of paint job that IHC did on these old girls........which isn't that hard to recreate.
