Have had several A/C systems quit lately. Redteks ad makes it sound really wonderfull and easy to work with. has anybody used it and how does it work out thanks doug

I have used it in two or three cars. worked great for a year, really good actually. The next season the ac wouldn't work at all. I really don't know that much about servicing ac and I cannot say whether it was the red tech product or other issues with the system in the first place. My 97 Grandmarquis still blows cold air with a system that has never been touched, i have heard of much newer cars where the ac goes after only a few. I think it has to do with quality materials (I'm rambling here).
any way, 1 concern i would have on using it in a piece of equipment you plan on keeping is that if you put it in and screw it up, a ac tech might not want to touch it in the future. 2nd thing i will say is to avoid the oil they sell. I guessed that I should use some in one of the cars i used it on (this was the 2nd season when it stopped working again), I don't know for sure if that was the reason it never worked again or not, but a friend who knew a little about ac said the system was propably flooded with oil now. He said the oil doesn't usually leak out, just the gas.

My 2 cents.

PS The cars I used it on were high milliage and i didn't expect to have them for long, hence why I took the risk on using them as opposed to getting it done right by someone who knew what they were doing.
