B Decals...locations

About ready to put the decals on the B farmall. Tryed to search the archives, but didn't see any thing, where should the attached decals go? Don't need scintific, just the general location.

Guy Fay's book on the Farmall Letter Series has excellent decal placement information. I highly recommend that you get a copy of the book.

It may be a good Book, but it is NOT worth the $130 on Amazon!
I'll just hope someone who already has a copy is willing to look up in the book the decal placement, and then tell me here!!!

I will for $50.

The little one that says open is for the radiator shutter...if you have one. If not, you just toss it. The two caution decals go on the centerline of the fuel tank so you can read them as you sit and operate the tractor. The yellow one for hitching the tractor goes on the back of the seat pan...center it so it looks good.

pto one goes on the pto shield hitch one goes on the back of the seat short turns one go on top of the pto casting behind the gear shifter. open is for shutters and that goes above the shutter crank. None of those pictured go on the hood.

Ours was that way over the yrs seems changes were made. Guy Fays book has the short turn mounted on the tank. There was no shifting pattern either but sure see lots of them at shows. Not many decal kits have one for the oil filler/breather cap nor one for the radiator drain or even oil level petcocks.

$130?? I just retrieved mine off the shelf. I bought it 6-30-01, From a vendor (Jensales) at a tractor show. Paid $26.45 with sales tax.

I've got nothing against Amazon, but $130 is bordering on outrageous.

I agree. But then again, Jensales website don't list it, and I'd be willing to guess the last printing was several years ago. Feel bad for the authors too...doubt there getting any of Amazon's $130.
At least around here I can't say Amazon has put any of our used book stores out of business...least not the ones good enough to use in the days before Amazon...and yet, you'd have a better chance of finding a foot of snow in side the store than a good collection of Farm books...and we did loose boarders, but they to rarely had a good collection of farm books.
Honestly, I'd say around here, Amazon and the internet have made things a lot easier.
