Will a manifold from a 140 fit on the 113 block?

Ok, I'd bet it would bolt up to the HEAD (I caught that Gimpy, LOL) but the throat is shorter and the carb hose would not fit to the air cleaner on a B.

Crisis averted though, I found a manifold for a Super A about 5 miles from my house. Will be picking it up in the morning. That will fit. Thanks guys.

I'm not sure if this is the IH gasket numbers but the 113-123 cid (A/B/C/100/supers/etc) call for #352014 R1. The 140 calls for #352014 R2.

I've looked at pictures of the gaskets and the 113 cid seems to have round ports on the inner two (I think the exhaust) and the 140 has square ports. My head has square ports on the inner two and round ports on the outer two on each side, like the 140 gaskets/manifold.

Some companies selling manifold gaskets (aftermarket) list it will fit a B (113 cid) as well as a 140.

The reason I ask is I'm looking at a used 140 manifold pretty cheap and I need one for my 1945 B 113. Most of the other used manifolds I've seen are just a little cheaper than a new one.

Mr. Bender, would you be able to clarify this? You seem to be the resident expert on 113/123 motors.

Ive never worked on a 140 but seems like the manifold gasket would be the same when lloking up parts but sometimes those books are not correct eg/starters and gens.

I believe it will bolt up BUT, the carb to air cleaner will not align. I believe a 140 manifold had a shorter throat.

I don't know, but does it call for the same gaskets?
