| Rated at 56.5 maximum horsepower, the Model 300 power unit was identical to the engine used in the 15-30 McCormick Deering tractors. A total of 4987 units were built during 1929-1941 production run. All the unique features of the 15-30 engines were evident on this model. Supplied at extra cost was an optional direct-drive five-speed transmission.
If possible, could you post some pictures of it? There should be a serial number stamped on the engine, if you can find it, that will help to determine the exact year your power unit was made. |

| | Where are you located, and is it for sale? I have a 22-36 tractor that has a badly worn engine as it was a sawmill tractor. The wheel lugs are near like new as it never saw much drawbar work but the engine is totally worn out. Joe |
