Heres one that has*nt made it into the forum!Ha Ha. Does anyone have the after market starter conversion like the hiesler co. of hudson iowa made. An elderly fellow on my street wants to bolt one on his f-14 Plans or parts? Chuck Machinist

heisler didnt make a sarter setup for a 12/14. those you see with the starter that stick out the rear of the bellhousing cover are factory IHC setups. and yes, they will be from 1000 and up

They made some aftermarket ones recently for the F20 I know, not sure about the F12 -14. The ones I would call first are:

I don't know if they will have any on hand, but they can tell you who would, and if they are still available.

Chuck, I hope he has deep pockets. I saw one go on ebay for $1500 a couple weeks ago. I bought one to put on my dad"s f14 that we are in the process of rebuilding and that set me back $500 and that was ten years ago. The best ones I have seen was a guy that made a unit that mounted on the drawbar and drove the PTO to start the tractor.
