Fast Hitch Springtooth-Got Er Done !!

Just put the finishing touches on my restored fast hitch springtooth. I`ve had it a long time and decided to finally get her fixed up and painted so I can take it, along with a few other fast hitch implements out of my collection, to the Chilton,WI Steam & Tractor show in a couple weeks. They are featuring IH this year, so it`ll be a good show for us red guys !

I noticed your seat. Is it one that flips upside down? I assume it is not a orginal to the C. Did it come with the tractor or did you buy it somewhere?

This Super C was bought new by my Dad in 1954. To my knowledge the flip seat was on it since new.I put the reupholstered seat on when I painted the tractor 10 years ago.

Yes, Super C was available with the flip over seat... the one Dad bought new had it also.

The flip over seat was available on C also. My Dad's uncle bought a new Farmall C in 1950 and it had the flip over seat.
