Red Power Roundup - Missed most of the YT'ers, sorry!

I enjoyed seeing all the tractors on Saturday at the Red Power RoundUp, but was real sorry for missing seeing most of the YT'ers - as had especially looked foward to meeting Nebraska Cowman, IaGary, FarmallHal, and many others.

And, while I do truly understand many of our folks that attend these shows cannot walk, especially in the heat, I really, really, REALLY did not like the overabundance of golf carts, Gators, etc, as seemed like trying to see tractors in middle of Michigan Avenue in Chicago
 
yeah i agree fully i brought a cub and was told i couldn't drive it but if i have a golf cart i could drive it the golf carts up there was driving faster than a cub could ever go hope ohio can improve on this
 
Well I didn't make it this year. We told my daughter we would babysit so they could go on a short well deserved vacation. We forgot when they asked a month ago that it was the same time as the RPRU.

Thought about taking them with us till we saw the temp forcast.

I was there all three days, didn't spend much time talkin though. I didn't mind the golf cars too much. It seemed like most people kept them on the main allies and didn't try to wiggle through the tractors.
 
Golf car traffic was not bad this year. The show was so strung out the only way to see it was with wheels. If you went into the Chapter Building(A/C and food) you were 300 feet from Cowman.
 
Sorry to have missed you but I was there starting on Tuesday during the set-up. Did get to see several of the folks I've met at previous RPRU's and did meet Jim Becker for the first time. Already looking forward to the next RPRU in Lima, Ohio next June, Hal.
 
Our I-30 was displayed in the Cowman's area.

I'm afraid a lot of people never found the chapter building (or us) I'm working on ideas to get information out better next year.
