Has anyone every actually upholstered a pan seat? It has the crimped edge on it. I am one of these guys who like to do things completely myself, but not completely sure about the process? |

| A man over on the farmallcub web forum done his own, and done a great job with it. His thread should be easy to find on that site.
I opted to have Darrell cover mine. Mine was already painted a couple years ago, so he shipped it back to me to "touch-up" with my own paint. I was absolutely thrilled with how it turned out. Extremely tight and durable, very well done and worth every penny of it.

| As anybody tried one of the aftermarket cloth covered seats? They are only about $25 more than Darrell recovering yours and then I wouldn't have to fix the worn out holes and rails. |

| Thanks Hal. I didn't have all the details. BTW YOU (the OP) would have all the details if you were a member of the International Harvestors Collectors Association. He is one of the main men at the magazine and he always has an ad in there. |

| Yes, Darrell is the editor/publisher of the Harvester Highlights magazine which is published four times a years. The magazine is free to all members of the International Harvester Collectors Club Worldwide and is very much worth the annual dues of the IHCC. Anyone interested in joining the organization can get the new membership info by email at IHCCLUB@aol.com or calling (765) 478-6197. The annual dues are $15.00. |

| You can contact Darrell Darst at his email - farmall130 at socket dot net or his phone no. is (660) 291-8742 and his address is 18324 Monroe Rd. 1073, Madison, MO 65263. He uses the original heavy cotton canvas and has the same tooling to roll the lip over as was used on the IHC seats of the pan seat era. He has done all of mine for my letter series tractors and I couldn"t be more pleased and certainly looks much better then the repro"s with the slick vinyl. Send him you seat if useable and that is the seat you will get back. I believe you will be pleased as well, Hal. |
