what pressure should u get from sterring orfice hole with tractor at wot and wheels not being turned?i am showing 1000psi at wot and 275-300 at idle.i have 2200psi at wot with steering held to stop.thanks

Should be about the 2100 with throttle at PTO speed. Will probably give you about a 1000 at rated speed with out moving the wheel.

You should show only about 200 psi above what the regulated pressure is when you are not turning the steering wheel. That would be the differential pressure behind the flow divider valve added to the pressure of the regulated circuit. The reading you are getting down on the bottom plug is regulated pressure and should remain close to the same at all speeds. Sounds like you have a restriction but your steer to stop pressure sounds good. Steer to stop is controlled by power steering relief valve, regulated pressure is controlled by regulating valve and is the return oil from power steering so the steering pressure will always have to read regulated pressure plus the differential pressure build up behind flow divider.
