farmall 400 diesel carburetor

Have a 400 diesel carb was all gunked up cleaned it and put it back on it runs however it will have fuel pouring out the carburetor drain tube
what did I overlook???

Float stuck or not adjusted properly.

I solved that with a new float. The original float (cork) wasn't floating any more.

I have heard of people dipping them in fuel tank sealer instead of buying a new float. I haven't tried it.

I did try that first. It worked for about 2 months before turning the float into a gooey mess.
