Broken glass fuse in a 400

I twisted the fuse cap off to look a the glass fuse, and I broke the fuse. Half of the glass is still in the dash. Should i try to pick it out? And can I buy a replacement fuse at carquest? The 400 has a 6 volt system.

Shoud come out with small needle nose pliers.

Yea ya can did it out just unhook the battery and it just a SFE20 fuse.

Just use a pick to remove the broken piece. Voltage does not matter just replace with the same amperage. Should be stamped into one of the fuse metal end caps. Available at auto parts or Radio Shack.

sometimes a small drill bit - narrower than the fuse - can be twisted in (by hand) and give enough grab on what's left to yank it out.
