only ONE hose I can't find replacement for on my 560? help

hey guys... looking for the hose that goes from the pre-cleaner to oil bath.

I checked with Case-IH today, there are not ANY in the country. It's not too big of a deal, but it's the only hose that's not replaced.

Anyone else run into this??

It's #5 in the photo below.

Did they check Parts Depot? You can do that yourself, at least last I tried. You have to buy through a dealer though.

yes we did try there.... might take to go napa or big truck shop and see if they have something close.

Check with Hetrick's IH in New Bethlehem Pa. They have an amazing amount of stock. Also, they have a couple of older guys there that almost have the parts catalog's memorized. More than once they found parts that other IH dealer said couldn't be had.

Same problem on my 460, probably the same hose, none in the US, I think mine was the last one in Canada. You will probably have to make modifications, perhaps put two L shapes together, etc.

The reason you can't find that part is because there was a running change where that line was eliminated and those tractors that already had it from the factory were to be reworked to eliminate the line. The tube at the air cleaner was to be pinched off and the hole in the valve cover was to have a plug installed in it.

The reason for the change is that the line allowed engine oil and vapors to collect on the air intake tube and collect dust until it choked off the air flow.

I think he is talking about #5 and you are talking about #7. I think he wants the rubber hose that lets in unfiltered air.

yes it's #5, and after several calls, none to be found. Might just have to clean up the old one.
