Late uncles farmall cub whats it worth

My uncle john just passed away this week me and my dad are in charge of selling his stuff. He has a restored cub new tires and front and rear weights with hydraulics. it also has the sickle mower, 1 bot plow, front blade for snow, full cultivators with fert side dresser, and the rear field cultivator (digger) all factory stuff no welds excellent shape. We are thinking with everything around 3,000.00 to 3,500.00 are we close thanks Scott

It is a regular cub and it is a 1948. it also has extra parts with it the little digger has extra teeth and the side dresser has 2 extra fiber glass hoppers and more stuff we haven't found yet

You should advertise on here in Classified Ads under Marketplace in the upper left of your monitor's screen. I would ask 4k for all of it.
You can always come down some. Hal

Scott, your price is close for all the things your list, and especially, if they are in good to VG condition. One thing you may want to consider is that some people will be looking for specific items, and frankly, you may end up getting more cabbage over-all if you are willing to sell certain items separately. for example, the snow blade, complete and in decent shape will bring $300 - $350 easily. Sickle bar, ditto. cultivators same ballpark if not a tad higher, especially with the sidedresser, let's say $400 for grins. You are looking at $200+ for the single bottom plow. Without the tractor, that adds up to around $1200 if we low-ball everything.

A recently restored cub with new treads, paint, etc. will bring $2500 easy around my parts. So, the $4000 number is closer to what I think is spot on for fair market value. In the end, it all depends upon how fast you want to sell it, and what you are willing to take. To a cub guy, $3000 out the door is a good deal, and will move it fairly fast. IMHO

Don't forget about the Mecum auction in August. They have two days of collector tractor auctions. I bet there are a lot of people who would love to get their hands on some of that equipment.

Those Fertilizer Hoppers (if not rusted through and complete) are worth at the least $200 EACH. You can still buy them new from CASE/IH for around $400-500. Around here (the South), a Full Set of Cultivators will bring $600-700. A complete side dresser with the hopper and good hose will bring around $400-500 (hoses are still avail for around $30). Also, the front and rear weights could be sold EASILY for $200. Might get more out of them having that the front weights are harder to find.

WISH IT WERE CLOSER!
