Behlen Power Steering Pump

Will a Behlen power steering pump (one that runs in front of
the distributor) off a John Deere 70 bolt right up to an M?
They look the same from what I can see in pictures... Thanks!

Even if the bolt holes were identical the gear from the cam drive would be different. (possible roatation difference as well) not good odds unless you have the missing drive parts. (I never heard of interchangability of any parts to a JD except valve cores in the tires. Jim

Do you have any pics of your JD 70 that you would like to share? I have one, it runs great, but the power steering is awful, and I need inspiration to tackle the rebuild on it...I didn't realize it has a Behlin pump. By the way, I have a Farmall 450 with a Behlin power steering unit. Thanks.

Most of those pumps bolt up to a standard SAE magneto drive. If so and it turns the same way it will work.
