I dont know about this... I think you've been undermined. Somebody snuck a box of (dare I say it?) John Deere shop rags in your shop! Just kidding. That tractor looks amazing. I've always wondered what a 560 looked like new coming off the line. I'm only 30 so obviously have seen mainly rusted/busted 560's. But wow does it look nice. Ecxellent work!

thanks for the comments...

yes.. those are John Deere shop towels, LOL I'm sales & marketing mgr of JD store here in IL.

It's coming along real well.

Looks great.

So close...

Just don't give into the urge now to hurry up and finish it, that I know you MUST be feeling! I certainly would be.

Keep doing it right.

Yes we have talked about that.... we are taking our time to get it RIGHT, had to order few little parts today that I had forgot. Plus some new bolts too.

it's SO exciting.... we are truly getting close!

What do you mean by that?

Like janicholson said below. A new 560 was pretty impressive in its time but never ever looked that good from the factory.

I gotta tell you Colby that machine looks so impressive. I haven't
commented on anything you've done so far but I am beyond
impressed. I would love to see that machine in person. I am hoping
to make an appearance at RPRU next year. I also plan to have one
there be it shiny or not.

Thanks... we have worked hard to build something special.

Love the comment "2012 Farmall 560" :)

It will be at RPRU next year!

One thing is FOR SURE... you guys will be the 1st to see it completed!

I am going to ask a question. I think your doing one heck of a job on this tractor and it looks awesome.

Are you planning on putting that triangular cover on the outside of the dash on the rubber covered push button switch?

gramps

no it was just setting there for the photo :) good eye.

thx, it's making progress... won't be long before it's done.

Thanks for the reply I see so many people put that switch on wrong and put that back plate on the front side and I think it just ruins the look of the dash.

thanks

your totally right about that :)

here's the before photos

added new stuff: horn, temp gauge, starter button, fuse, choke, & lighter.

LOL

what about this idea.... cut holes in L / R side of seat base for speaker so i can play some tunes??

Colby, Where did you locate the new lighter? I need one for my Farmall 240 restoration which will remain 6 volts and will probably be different then on your 12 volt system. The part no. for my F240 is 363183R91 and a source would really be appreciated.
Your project is really coming along great and I certainly look forward to your updates as it reminds me so much of how my Super C came back to life a couple of years ago, Hal.
