35 Farmall F-20 Would not start

Thanks for all the help. My F-20 did not have spark and the wife would not hold the wire to check the spark. It was the condenser. It was shorting out on the top of the cover. Very easy to replace with the Mag. on the tractor. Started right up.

I got my wife once holding the plug along with the wire on a lawn mower. Wouldn"t you know it, part of the insulation on the plier handle was bare. Boy, did she jump. LOL

When I worked in the JD shop here a guy brought in a JD B and New holland baler for work on the baler. When he went to leave the tractor didn't start right up so he held the spark plug wire while I rolled it over. He said it had some spark but not enough. His hair oly curled a little I guess

We had a man in the neighborhood who had a WK40 that he pulled a thresher and sawmill with. Have seen him more than once shut it off at quitting time by holding three plugs with each hand and killing it. Never had the guts to try anything like that myself. Joe
