Will a Cummins 12 or 24 valve fit in Farmall 706?

If you are swapping one from a Dodge truck, no ity is not a bolt in swap. But, yes, it can be "made to fit" with considerable adaptor work.

someone on ebay has an adaptor from the cummins to the large transmission IH. Search cummins farmall it should come up. i believe i saw an 806 with a 6BT. you probably dont want the 24v because it is computer controlled...

when you search farmall cummins go to see other items of the seller and the 706 adaptor plate and flywheel will come up. it looks like the adaptor uses the stock clutch and starter!!!
