Can someone tell me the sequence for tightening the head on my M? I believe its 62 lbs per nut right?

thanks, anthony

Read the manual ;) They don't list a specific order like new stuff, but they do say start in the middle and work out. I also torque to 40 lbs, then 60 lbs, then final torque.

You should start in the center and work in a a circular pattern towards the ends of the head. Torque in several increments, say 1/2 of required torque, then 3/4 and finally at the full 110 ft/lbs You should also retorque the head with the engine warm, and then reset the valve lash.
