I have a Farmall super C hasn"t run in about a year I am not getting any spark from the distributor. I replaced points, condenser, rotor and coil. I get a weak spark from the coil.it"s a 6 volt system and turns over slow. But when I turn the switch on snd break the points there is no spark. Switch tested good. and the wiring to and from the coil are good any Ideas?

New points a lot of times have a coating on them to protect them so you need to use the flap from the box they came in to clean them. Tear off a flap then fold it in half and run it across the points a few times and see if that helps. Also to check your wiring run a hot wire from the battery to the coil ignition side and see if the spark is better. If it is then you have a wiring problem

Measure your battery voltage while cranking the engine to see how far the voltage drops. If the starter is drawing a lot of amps may not leave enough voltage for your ignition. Use a hydrometer and check the specific gravity in each battery cell and compare the readings. Should be the 1.270 range on a fully charged battery. If one cell reads very low you need a new battery.
