140 fast hitch adjustment

What is the proper way to adjust the sway bar on a 140 fast hitch? Should there be movement in the fast hitch or not? Thanks for any help

depends on what you're doing...

For plowing you want the hitch to swing free.

For most other things you want it rigid.

So disk harrowing or bush hogging you need it loose so it can move freely and row cultivating tight and not able to move

every pto implement attached to the hitch requires the hitch be rigid.

other implement use varies by the implement instructions, operator's preferences or a need of the job at hand.
