Help--Trying to Find My Old H--FBH359723-X1

Good Afternoon! Trying to find my dear old 1951 Farmall H that I had to part with after a tornado blew down the barn I had it stored in and unfortunately I sold it. Was sold to a person in Brown County Indiana in the late 1980 Early 1990 timeframe and I don't have the name of the person who bought it. Since I was overseas in the Army and had no place to look after it, I reluctantlyy sold it. Serial Number is FBH 359723-X1. Know this is a shot in the dark but had to ask! Would love to get it back even if it was rusting in a fence row! Thanks for looking!! Steve

There may be a record of the sale or the auction in the local newspaper, if you can pin down the date it was sold, or possible the date of the storm.

Put some flyers out in Nashville & surrounding counties. Don't get discouraged.... attend every tractor club show in the surrounding counties, walk right up to each Farmall owners you see & start a conversation, you never know, it might just turn up once the word gets out there.

I have been looking for any or all of my grandpa's tractors, sold at auction in 1958, I still walk up to any H super H or M at shows & check the serial number to this day. I was able to find the Auctioneer advertisement at the county library, searched their records around that date & was able to obtain a copy of the sales bills & got the tractor serial numbers off of it.

Great info and thank you for taking the time to add all the resources. I"ve sent a note to the BCAMA and anxiously awaiting a reply!! Know this is like looking for a white cat in a snowstorm but had to ask! Am President of our Wilson County Antique Power Association and also do the looking while at shows, tractor drives, and parades! Appreciate your great reply and hopefully one of these days I"ll have the pleasure of owning it once again. Was my first real purchase way back in 1960. Steve
