A friend has a 240 the hydraulic pump keeps pushing the seal out on the drive shaft. He says that when he uses his rake on the back. Thinks it has something to do with the ground not being flat. This has the fast hitch. Not 3pt. I asked him if there was movement in the gear shafts or if there was something missing or added that is not supposed to be in the pump. He said no. He will bring it over this weekend. |

| | Andrew, I looked at the pump it looked tight in the shaft department. I did talk to John at J.P. Salvage today he said that either the pump or the valve is bad. Try the other valve to the SCV If then the pump works fine it is the valve. And of course if it doesn't then the pump. This is if it had the sensing valve something about 3 gears in there that can go bad. thanks . |
