Got to the bottom (no pun ) of my 1206 plow? I posted. IH did not make the plow I found out dad had an MM plow
(Oliver) on the 1206 after he had tried an IH. And yes MM/Oliver did offer an 8x16 in furrow which our old hired man told me they added OL hitch to for one yr. Then dad stopped plowing. Thanks for your help so Im looking for a 7x16 550 IH plow if one still lives anywhere
 
Why? The old Oliver plows are better plows, and do a much better job of turning the furrow over. Especially in sod and pull easier. I like a pull plow best. Nothing works like an old Oliver trailer plow with on land hitch.
 
Thanks for your input...Ive looked at a few salvage yards and cant seem to find an IH anyway guess there is a reason
