Installing oil pan on SH

I am ready to install oil pan back on SH. I have 2 bolts that are 3/8" longer than the others. Also there is one that is a stud with nut and washer. Where do these special fasteners go? Also i notice in the bottome corners of the block opposite from the cam there are 2 cork like plugs flush with bottom of block. What are these for? thanks, Randy

If I recall correctly the stud is on the back center of the oil pan. The two longer bolts would be where the oil pan flares out straight below the generator side. You see those two holes are not directly in the block but stick out to the side a bit.

The stud goes in center rear and the two long bolts go one on each side of that stud as they reach through that plate the stud goes in and then into the block. Corks are just to plug go no place holes not used in this application.

He said the corks were used on the opposite corner from the cam.

How should you install the rubber plug things in a diesel rear main seal retainer?
