Can you take apart the oil pressure guage on a
Farmall A to clean the glass? Mine is so brown that you can barely read the guage. John

It is leaking internally. Replace it.

Well if your anything like me no problem getting it apart but putting it back together is an other story. I dont think you can take it apart.

The others are right, you need a new gauge.
Possibly, the bourdon tube inside the gauge has developed a leak.
I do remember a gauge repair shop had a special tool that would open the bead on the chrome trim ring that holds the glass in.
The same tool was also used to re-crimp the trim ring after repairs, but I haven't seen one of those tools in quite a while.

It won't hurt anything to try, but it is probably leaking inside.
