Pipe style seat for H

Does anyone know what years the h came with the pipe style seat assembly? I know the 46 model but unsure of any of the other years. Thanks

The pipe style seat was standard from Mid 1940 up through early 1953 I think. Not sure when the Monroe style became an option, or if it ever was a factory option, but for sure the Monroe was a dealer installed option.

Kelley in Illinois has a really nice one in photo ads at $75. That is a decent price if you need one.

I have several m's and h's and one h has the pipe seat in excelent shape. I mowed about 10 acres of hay on that seat, that is the most uncomfortable piece of junk seat I have ever sat on.All my other farmals have the shock seat with the big spring under it and they are very comfortable but that pipe seat kills my back you feel every bump in the field right up your spine
