The trans has quite a few part number coincidences. from the input shaft forward there are substantial differences. especially if it has live PTO. internally they match well. Compare parts at caseih.com search for parts. Jim
If IH history books are to be believed, the transmissions should be identical for all practical purposes.
The 330 Utility is allegedly a 350 Utility rear end mated to the then-new C153 engine that IH was developing for the upcoming 340.
A 350 Utility is simply a 300 Utility with a slightly larger engine and some minor improvements.
You should be able to take a 300 Utility rear end and mate it to a 330 front.
