Hi Lyle, I assume, you are saying that if the engine on tractor has not run for 2 days the reservoir has leaked emptied. Does your 895 have a cab? Check for hydraulic oil leaks around the brake master cylinders and the 2 steel lines that go from master cylinders back along the top of transmission to under the seat.
If there are no leaks then probably leaking 'O'rings on the wheel brake cylinders. You can determine if one or both wheel cylinders are leaking. After the tractor has been shut off for a day or more, before starting engine depress each brake separately, if that brake is spongy or goes to the floor board then that brake cylinder is leaking.

Hope this helps

There is a stand pipe inside the reservoir to maintain oil level when not running.

The pipe can slip down the overflow drain and allow the reservoir to empty itself.
