Super W6 Super M Parts Interchange

I am working on getting dads old Super W6 ready for a tug pull and I need to know if the grille and gas tank for a SW6 are the same as an M/SM. Also, calcium was eating up the rims so I took them off to clean up and repaint. In the meantime someone moved my coffee can of wheel wedges and nuts and they are nowhere to be found. Are the wheel wedges for a SW6 unique to it and the other wheatland tractors or are they the same as an M/SM? Thanks in advance for the help. Jared

I would guess the wheel wedges are the same from looking at my WD-9 and the rest of my tractors. Not positive. You could look at your W-6 parts book and then look up an H/M online and that would tell you the story.

I think you better work on getting you W-6 grill and gas tank in good shape. IIRC they don't interchange.

off the top of my head the grill is different as the m had holes for mounting and steering a cultivator.

Hood's different too. An M's hood has an exit for the steering shaft and governor control rod.

Maybe it's an optical illusion but a W6 hood/grille appears to be shorter and wider than an M hood/grille.
