I've got an industrial 3414, 6 cylinder gas engine. It's time to replace the fuel pump and I want to go electric. Anyone have any suggestions about the size/style of pump that woud be best? I see pumps for sale that are 3psi on up to 100+ psi. Some are rotary and others are selenoid type. I want something dependable and economical. Thanks!!

A six in a 3414? I wish you'd post a picture of that. Anyway, a real good pump is a Bendix electric, plunger style. But they're not easy to find, have to go online and get it by mail. If you're not into sterling quality, get a small Fawcett (square metal box) or any other small pump with 1/8" ports. There is also another style, a round body with 3/8" hose nipples on either end, but I have not had one of those that lasted very long. They put out a lot of flow, however, but you don't need that much gas, unless you have a RD-450 in there.
