Looks pretty simple. I saw a W-9 in a parade on Sunday that had the plain strap.

WOpp--is the roller drawbar on a W-9 or WD-9? Ever since this topic came up, I have been doing a little digging. The only tractor I have with the roller is a 600. The parts manuals for the 9's only show the strap type. I am cursed with being one of those "correct" guys so you have my curiosity.

sflem849--I haven't taken those measurements of the strap type for you yet. Do you still need them?

I might try and track down the local guy to get the measurements first hand if WOpp's roller doesn't work out.

WOpp, I didn't see a picture of the battery holder in your first post.

The local guy is actually in this issue of RPM towards the back. His name is Archie Morton. The article had a picture of his 826 (?) gold demo.

I'll try again, this roller is on WD9, I do not find it listed in WD9 parts book i have.

This could well be an aftermarket roller, Tjhe one shown in 600 parst book is made different as well
