Locking Vented Gas Cap

Anyone know where I can get a LOCKING VENTED gas cap for my 706 gas? It"s 100 miles from where I live and the gas doesn"t last long...running or just sitting in the shed...Thanks, Cmore

Just a locking cap won't do you any good . The sediment bowl and valve on the bottom of the tank is where the theifs go for any more .

Leave it with five gallons of diesel in the tank. You"ll have to remember to drain and refill before use of course, but you won"t make that mistake more than once.

You sure about that? I don't give your average everyday thief that much credit. Normally they're not smart or ambitious enough to get at the gas from that angle.

I would expect them to knock a locking gas cap off the tank with a rock rather than mess around cutting the fuel line.

A locking gas cap will only serve to keep the honest folks honest and MAYBE to slow down the dishonest thieves, and if the tractor is parked where no one can see it, the thieves have plenty of time to do whatever they need to do to get your gas.

Only sure fire way to stop the theft is to leave the tractor with an empty gas tank.
