Glow Plug Replacement - Help needed

Need some advice...I am still working on my Farmall 460D. I am trying to get the glow plugs out so I can replace them. I have loosened them, but can't get them out. I tried pulling them with channel-locks, but no luck. Again, I have unscrewed them. But they are stuck. Any tips, tricks or advice for me please. Thank you. John......

the ends are either carboned up or swelled up when they burnt out. if there carboned which you wont know, is spray some carb cleaner in past the threads so it work its way down to the tip. then just keep turning and pulling up at the same time you should make headway slowly by doing this. if the ends are exploded then you have to remove the injectors. or either way injector removall may be the only option. then make sure that you replace all the sealing rings and dust rings and take notice that the cup is marked "up" and this has to be installed at 12 oclock position. failure to follow this will result in hard and poor starting.
