Mirror on a B

I"m getting close to having things ready for my first tractor ride. Does Gene or anyone else have ideas or maybe a picture of a setup I can make work?
Thanks!

Getting the mount strong if you dont want a "shaky" mirror is the key. I used 1 in sq tube off the bell housing by the aircleaner so the mirror sets just in front of the gas cap and a large mirror off an old pick-up works well.

I use a piece of flat iron to mount the mirror and a muffler clamp to the muffler outlet.Easy on and easy off.

I put one on my H. Mounted it in rubber to the headlight bar and braced it to the air intake. Still shakes a bit but not bad. I used an outside mirror from a junked '76 F100.

Put a small 2" bicycle mirror on thelight bar on my H, leans out by the left light. Works fine, it"s small so youhave to adjust your head, but it"s small and out of the way.

We had a mirror on the Farmall M. It was bolted onto the Armstrong-Holland dozer frame. It worked very well, but was eventually broken off by a tree. Dad was on the tractor, putting in a fire break during a forest fire. My grandmother and the Anglican Vicar (I can't remember why the vicar was there) brought him something to eat and drink. Suddenly the vicar grabbed my grandmother around the waste and disappeared under the tractor. Dad was just thinking it an odd thing to do when a large branch came down from behind him, just missed him and landed on the ground beside the tractor. The only damage it did was to remove the mirror. The mirror bracket is still attached to the frame to this day.
