International Harvester FCUB????

Hey everyone brand new to the forum and looking for some info from some pros.

My father just picked up a tractor over the weekend and he's trying to figure out what exactly he has. He's also a bit confused on how some of the attachments get hooked up. I'm looking for some sort of manual for him online, but I'm actually having trouble narrowing down what exactly he bought.

Here's the info that he's given me so far.

He says that it's an International Harvester.

Model he claims is just FCUB

Serial Number is 54030.

Does anyone know what year this is along with where I can find a manual for it? I'm not even sure what model this is and how to find one.

Welcome to the site.
FCUB= Farmall Cub
Serial number 54030- according to the serial number look-up on this site that would make it a 1948. Look
for cub manuals on E-bay, from CNH (Case New Holland), Binder books or even look on this website. If you
post on the IH/Farmall board you'll find folks that have been using them since well about 1947, and
they'll be glad to help you. Now that you know it's a cub search this site and the internet for
information and pictures. Sometimes seeing a picture of what the tractor is supposed to look like with a
gizmo like yours attached will help you get your gizmo attached or figure out you got the wrong gizmo

I"m still having trouble narrowing down which manual to get. When I try to search for the proper manual I don"t know the model of the tractor to type in. Can someone give me a hand with this? I"m basically looking for any manual that can help with the attachments on this tractor.

According to the information you provided you have a Farmall Cub, so search under that. Binder books and Jennsales both have manuals for cubs as well as this site and many others. Just look around a little bit and you will find what you need. Farmallcub.com is also a great wealth of knowledge on these little tractors.
