Hi Everyone,

I'm going to replace the bee bearings on my '44H and wondered if anyone had a good diagram showing the spindle/bearings. I have a manual, but there are not any good pictures/diagrams. thanks.

There's not much to it. You remove the caps, each with three bolts. On the end of each spindle there is a clamp like thing with a bolt through, which you remove and then the thing unscrews off the end of the spindle. The bolt is often buried in grease but it it usually there if you dig. The outer bearing slides off, the hub slides off and the inner bearing slides off and there you are. It is a very messy greasy job, but if you don't mind that it is not too difficult. Picture shows a spindle with the hubs removed. Someone in France just bought it on ebay from me today, and I need to look up how much it is going to cost to ship over there.
