Yep. He doesn't really sell parts. If he offers to do it there is a good chance he is going g to buy it from someone else and sell it to you. He is an auctioneer.
 
OK, this all makes sense, I ran an add in the classified section for a farmall 300 radiator, he called me a couple of sundays ago and said he was parting out a 300, and had a really good radiator, so i sent him the money for it and have not recieved radiator yet,
 
He is a talker, spoke too him last thursday, claimed the local ag dealer had not shipped the radiator, said he would get back to me on friday morning, have not heard from him, and he wont take my repeated phone calls, sounds like i got burned
 
I went to him a couple yrs ago to buy an IH toolbox. His price was so high I told him I wasn"t interested in the whole tractor.

I had the feeling he would like it better if you didn"t bother him.
I think you can do better with someone else.
