Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me out, I"m completely befuddled. I have an old super W6, gas. Last fall the fuel inlet into the sediment bowl got clogged with rust/general crud from the tank, so I got the tank stripped and sealed and rebuilt the carb for good measure. Just got it on and ran it for the first time since fall and I can"t seem to get it to run right. There"s a consistent popping through the exhaust no matter what I adjust which wasn"t there last fall before I started working on it. Am I adjusting the carb wrong? Cound this be a valve problem? The tractor has sat every winter and never had sticky valves/any problems before. I"m rather a novice at carb adjustments I might add.
Thanks!
