Auction tomorrow

Going to an auction down the road tomorrow. It is the place that had the 200 and 340 stolen. There is a C left and a few fast hitch things that would have went to the 200. I happen to have a 200 so I hope the mowing machine, cultivators and plow goes cheap. Will also bid in the 85 acres, but I am sure it will go for more than I have

I'm going there too, I didn't realize the 340 and the 200 were
stolen. Did that happen recently? The pictures on the website
show them being there. I bought an H parts tractor there last fall
and did well with that. I may be interested in the C but I won't bid
against you on FH equipment. If you feel like saying hello I am easy
to find, I will be the tallest person there.

when you picked the H up where was it sitting I do not remember one there. We have the farm across the road.
Yea, the scrappers stole them and towed them to the yard. They were mostly dismantled when they found them. I am not even 100% that they have the FH equipment left there. It was there a last fall , but with all the thievin who knows. The owners daughters let someone scrap alot of stuff in the spring and it might have went then too. I have a sneaking suspicion that almost anything worth anything has already been stolen, scrapped or sold.

If you were standing in the road the H was down to the left of
the other tractors, down by the barn door. It was half buried in
trash. I got it for $500 , one rear rim was half rotted away so I
had it hauled on a rollback. The 340 and 200 were still there
then. I might have tried to buy the C before now but the
daughter was very hard to reach on the phone so it was more
trouble than it was worth. The tractors were on Craigslist for a
while but the prices weren't great and it was so hard to get the
seller that I'm not surprised they didn't sell. Too bad the other
tractors got scrapped, they were in really pretty good shape and
had some nice parts on them. Did they recover any of the parts
as far as you know or were they too damaged? I hope whoever
gets the place cleans it up a bit, it is one of the worst dump sites
I've seen in someone's yard.

I remember that one now. Ray promised us first crack at all that stuff, but you cannot deal with the daughters at all. I remember the craigslist add (with all the msspelled words) stating the tractors ran last fall and such, that was a bit of a stretch the last time they ran we bailed the lot on the corner at least 6 years ago. I have NEVER seen that C run or out so I am thinking 15 plus years. I have let all my Amish friends know it is for sale, we are hoping they buy it. I think dad they cut hay for today, so I hope I can stay for the whole thing.

Well I got a side discharge rake that can also be used as a tedder for $50 in fairly workable condition. Congrats to Zach on a nice buy on the Super C. The Mower went for a little more than my cap.
