454 (and similar machines) flasher location?

The PO took out the wiring for the rear lights on my 454, and I"m
trying to restore it. I have new fender harnesses but it"s not
obvious from looking at the tractor or the parts book where the
flasher is supposed to mount or hang. Can someone with rear
blinkers explain?

(I also have horn wiring and button but no horn. Anyone know
where the horn is supposed to attach, if I ever decide to put one in?)

Thanks!

On the top of fenders and tilting in slightly near where the curve starts and about 2/3 the way to the rear and with the wires going thru the tubes on outside of fender. I have no signals and an add-on horn.

merlynr -- Thanks. But if I read your response correctly you"re telling me where the flashing lights go; I"m trying to figure out where the flasher module hangs or mounts (I have the connectors for it but I don"t see for sure what it would attach to)

The turn signal switch contains the flasher components if I remember correctly. It will be a non-serviceable module type of thing. You can take it apart but there's nothing you can do with it, unless maybe you're a clock maker. It's a fascinating piece of electro mechanical engineering--odd they didn't go with electronics. the newer case-ih models of the same tractor used the same switch into the 90s.

Not part of the switch on these tractors. The parts manual shows a discrete flasher module near where the main harness meets the left rear fender harness, and indeed there are connectors there for it. CIH still sells the part for only a few bucks, I just can"t see where to mount it.
