400 power to manual steering

I installed a manual steering shaft to temporarily replace a locked up Behlen unit, does one connect power steering hoses or can you plug them?

Do they come off a pump, or the hydraulics?

Connect them together to allow free flow or your pump will be against power steering relief valve all the time. Factory set up I presume, not a separate pump.

Just loop it as Pete said, I took the power sterring off on mine as well.

My 450 is getting where it is easy to steer sometimes and very hard to steer sometimes. Would it be any harder to steer than an M with the power steering removed?

They are not that bad to steer unloaded, that is no
front mounted implements ect. I will say my wife of
a 130lb is able to steer the 450 with 300lb on a
front weight rack, with not to much effort. Would i
want to go all day in the field plowing or disking
with it that way, probably not but around the house
and here and there use, not a problem.
