Hi hope all you experts can help me out here. i have a 51 farmall super c and 55 200 both tractors are giving me clutch issues. super c has a brand new clutch n piolt bearing and 200 has a good clutch also when i start them up n put em in gear for the first time they grind pretty bad n went u stop n shift some times they go right into gear fine but other times they grind have try severe adjustments dont sure what else to do or check?

You need to remember that the gears in a tractor are not like those in a car or truck and they need time to spot spinning so yep if you figure on pushing the clutch pedal down and shift that very moment your not going to do it since once in motion things tend to stay in motion and physic's is physic's and you can not change that

The clutch release bearing is probably dragging and causing the transmission shaft to continue turrning after the clutch is disengaged. If there is a place to lube it, give it a couple shots of grease. I think the lube point would be through the hand hole on the bottom of the clutch housing. Beyond that, you can wait a few seconds after you disengage the clutch for things to stop or you can move the shift lever to the reverse side of neutral and press the lever forward (there is no gear there). Doing this will put some pressure on the transmission and help to stop the gears from rotating and then you can shift into gear without grinding.

Start the tractor with the clutch disengaged. Don't shift gears at wide open throttle, particularly if you let out the clutch and push it back in. As the others have said it does not have a syncromesh transmission. You should be using 90 or 85W140 in the transmission. Anything lighter will cause the problems you mention.

Both of my Super Cs do that too. If you move the shift lever over to the right and then forward (opposite of reverse )it seems to stop the transmission and you can put it in gear without grinding. Otherwise, just let it spin down.

Another thing is that the pilot bearing in the flywheel is a brass bushing and it should have been checked when replacing the clutch as they wear out and it should be lightly lubricated at that time. Any thing that keeps the disc from moving freely on trans shaft will cause disc to drag and any little grease or oil on it will also. Clutch fingers have to be adjusted evenly and depending on what mfg clutch you have that may be easy to do or near impossible.
