Cultivator for Super A

I bought a Super A and was wanting a good culivater for it, just wondered how hard it would be to find and about what it should be worth.

Finding one complete is the big problem 3-4oo and then location will be another item. When you do find one just make sure its all there as the shanks and holders do bring some good money.
 
Thank you, I'm sure even sure I would know if it were complete. I had one w/a Super C yrs. ago and traded it or something, would it have worked?

Been looking myself. The ballpark of 500 seems to be the going rate - but do be careful that they're actually complete - many people's idea of complete is a little different. Get good pictures.

They're definitely out there - but my biggest problem is finding anything local. For me, $500 is already pretty steep, add shipping charges to that, and I can't really justify it.
 
Super C will not work; however many of the bars, cuffs, shanks, clamps, etc. from a Super C will work on the Super A. Be sure to check for cracked pieces on the cultivator before you buy. Stumps and rocks take a toll in 60 years or so. $400 to $600 for just cultivators (front and back) around here (MS). Disk hillers, scratcher gangs and various sweeps a plus. Fertilizer and planter base, drive sprocket and hoppers, planter runner, etc. can be that much more.
 
No way one for a SC would work on a SA you better get an owners manual so you get all the parts. You said you would know if all the parts were there and then wondered if the one for a SC would work this says you dont know the cult for a SA Lots of them owners says what they fit and he just doesent know for sure thats why so many imnplements dont have all the parts to complete them.
 
No, I must have misspoken, I would have no idea if all the parts were there and from someone or somewhere I read that the SC was the same, no practical experience enough to have a clue.
