Super C hood length?

Can anyone that has a real Super C, please
measure the hood from front edge to rear edge.
trying to track down a reasonable hood for my parts
tractor 51 Super C (I'm considering saving it)
All the ones I've looked at (with Super C stickers)
ain't for a Super...too short

My other Super C has a regular C radiator in it
and I drilled the gas tank mount to lower it and
used a C hood and nose, so I can't measure that one.

Too short? Something else is going on here, because externally the C and Super C engines are exactly the same. The hoods should be practically identical.

OEM tractor parts lists the same hood for both tractors 26-11/16" long.

The hoods are the same. A/SA/B hoods may be different. Look up the numbers on www.oemtractorparts.com.

I just went out and measured mine. I agree with mk's length, that is what mine measured.

C and Super C hoods are the same.

Grill/nose cones are different. I think the "C" grill is 2" shorter than
the SC

appreciate the input.
Parts tractor from the junkyard, lots of parts missing, saveable
nose, radiator, gas tank are all the right SC stuff.
So, it looks like someone at the yard must have
pulled hard on the top of the radiator to get parts off.
distance from the center of gas cap to radiator cap
is 37 3/4".
same measurement on my assembled Super C is 35 1/4"
Just wanted to check with you guys before I 'adjusted'
it that far, back to spec.
pic is a 26 11/16" hood with the front latched.
